In 1993, DLH 2904 flight from Frankfurt to Warsaw, experienced a delayed deployment of spoilers and thrust reversers while landing. The braking commenced with delay and in condition of heavy rain and strong tailwind caused the aircraft not to stop on runway. One crew member and one of the passengers lost their lives.
