THE SOFTWARE HORROR PICTURE SHOW

The Royal Air Force (RAF) Chinook ZD-576 crashed in Scotland, killing its four-man crew together with 25 passengers from the Army, Royal Ulster Constabulary, GCHQ spy centre and MI5 intelligence. The investigation found problems in the Full Authority Digital Electronic Control (FADEC) software of the helicopter.
